New Look for church Worship space
We have changed the look of our worship space area, and have included a prayer corner and space for children and mums to sit. Hope you like it !
Morning worship is at 10 am followed by coffee in the Hub. The worship space is flexible as we have chairs and can be changed to suit our needs and requirements. We are developing a Prayer area and Children’s area inside the sanctuary. We use a Digital Hymnal to accompany our worship.
Holy Communion is conducted on the 2nd Sunday of every month. We have an Open Communion, where anyone regardless of religious denomination, ability, sexuality, age, adult, child or culture are welcome to join us.
Hymn Book used is usually ‘Rejoice and sing‘, however, we also use powerpoint most weeks, and this enables us to see videos and images to aid us in worship. Although we enjoy singing traditional hymns, and liturgy the powerpoint encourages us to sing new hymns and have different liturgies. A service sheet is often used to aid us in worship and liturgy.
We work closely with St Albans Church and St Anselm’s Roman Catholic Church and have held a variety of different services; in September 2015, we held an ecumenical outdoor ‘Blessing of the animals Service’ at Devils Punchbowl National Trust.( see pictures below)
